The King turned to the international tourism community:
“We have shown world leadership in tourism development policies, and now is the time to continue this.” Spain opens its borders to tourists from July 1. In the “new norm,” as the government called the post-pandemic stage, tourism is one of the most delicate moments. The main business for Spain, the arrival of foreign tourists, raises concerns about conditions and opportunities. The executive body set July 1 as the date for opening borders for tourists. In this regard, the King made an international appeal, endorsing our country as a destination: "Spain is a safe and high-quality tourist destination of the highest level."
